Around here, cattle are all about family—and every member of the MTNMN herd has a personality of their own.

Bring them their favorite treats—cattle “cake” sticks, fruits and veggies—and you’ll make friends pretty quickly! Meet Maximus, our Longhorn bull, watch the calves play alongside their mamas and steers, listen for those funny dinosaur-like Longhorn sounds, and see the personalities and herd dynamics that we get to enjoy every day.

The hardest part may be deciding who your favorite is.

MEET WILD BILL.

He’s not your average steer.

Wild Bill has built a pretty unique life at MTNMN Ranch.

He’s a rodeo entertainer who has proudly stood beneath the American flag during our National Anthem and prayer, carried cowboys and cowgirls, worked cattle with a rider throwing a rope from his back, and headed down the trail alongside the horses.

Back home, you’ll usually find him with his buddy Denver the Appaloosa—until it’s dinner time.

That’s when Bill likes to announce supper to the entire ranch with his dinosaur-like calls, a little loping and a few very enthusiastic kicks.
